The Daily Show Reminds Us That Donald Trump Has Always Been This Misogynistic and Gross

Recommended Videos

He’s not just putting on a show for this election. Donald Trump has always been as misogynistic and disgusting as he appears to be right now. He just wasn’t running for The Most Important Post in America before. Thankfully, we have The Daily Show around to remind us of that fact as they dig back into the archives for some good ol’ early-1990s footage.

Here, we get to watch a clip of Donald Trump along with his then-wife Marla Maples on the show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. In this interview, host Robin Leech asks Trump about his then one-year-old daughter, Tiffany. He asks, “What does she have of yours, and what does she have of Marla’s?” A question that, as Trevor Noah points out, any “human being” would answer in a way that is not this. Check out the segment here:

Noah is rightfully mortified, and I also needed the puppies and kittens and rainbows he cut to. This is a man that some people in this country think can and should be President! Have we lost our collective minds? This isn’t even about partisan politics! This is about a man who comments on his one-year-old daughter’s potential boobs wanting to run our country! If you look up “I can’t even” in the (urban) dictionary, there is almost guaranteed to be a picture of Donald Trump as Fig. 1-a.
