David Lynch Not Happy About Twin Peaks Leaks, Spoilers Online

Apparently some Twin Peaks fan sites have been posting and sharing set photos and information to Twitter in their excitement about filming finally beginning on the much-awaited cult classic TV show revival. We’re not going to re-share them here because that’s exactly the problem. A lot of the set photos are grainy long-distance shots taken from a ways away. Regardless, David Lynch and producer Mark Frost aren’t happy about those photos being posted to the internet.

For what it’s worth, a fan campaign has popped up in response to the spoilers, with fans tweeting their praise and/or criticisms about spoilers under the same hashtag Frost used above: #KeepTheMysteryAlive.

As The Daily Dot astutely points out, Twin Peaks is a cult classic TV show that’s finding itself in a new place and time. It didn’t have to worry about things like every bystander and gawker having a camera in their pocket. It’ll be interesting to see how they deal with these things as shooting continues.
