Things We Saw Today: Mark Hamill Was Walking Around Comic-Con as “Orange Vader” Because of Course He Was
If you were at SDCC this weekend, you may have had a run-in with a man calling himself “Orange Vader.” Orange Vader sported a familiar-looking wig, an orange Darth Vader mask, an orange golf club, and a white shirt saying “Make the Death Star Great Again.” You weren’t just running into a brilliantly satirical cosplayer, but young Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.

A few fans were shocked, and delighted, to find out the true identity of “Orange Vader,” as Mark Hamill confirmed it on Twitter. Hamill also took to the floor dresses as a Stormtrooper, wouldn’t be the first time, and I can only imagine the tears as people wonder if the Stormtrooper they saw was Hamill.

What a delightful man, please, just keep Mark Hamill safe. He is our only hope.

- This incredibly apt use of the “Distracted Boyfriend” meme for a Han/Leia/Chick-from-Solo cosplay was everything:
- Robert De Niro is in talks to be in the upcoming Joaquin Phoenix “Joker” movie. How about we just cancel that Jared Leto one. ‘Cause if Taxi Driver is in this one we can just fuhgettaboutit. (via THR)
