Venture Brothers Is Coming Back; Let’s Watch the Teaser Trailer, Shall We?
Venture Brothers, in all its weird and wonderful glory, will return with a new season on Adult Swim this January 31st at midnight — and until then, we’ve got a teaser trailer to watch.
This little clip is set in New York City, featuring Dr. Venture handing out novelty checks to various charities (presumably to help Venture Techno Industries recoup some goodwill), while The Monarch and Henchman 21 try to break back into his facilities. The Monarch is disguised as a living statue of the Statue of Liberty, and Henchman 21 is disguised as the Naked Cowboy, so they must be near Times Square in order for those disguises to fit in. In spite of having decent disguises, those two still manage to botch their mission almost immediately.
No sign of Brock or the younger Ventures yet — nor any number of other characters that I’d love to see return (Triana and Kim, anyone?). Who would you love to see come back?
