“The innovation in this market is mind boggling — and today two innovators are coming together.”

The iPhone 4 can be pre-ordered from Verizon beginning February 3rd, and will be available to the masses on February 10th. Pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model, and the iPhone can act as a hotspot for up to 5 devices. As with other CDMA phones, voice and data cannot be used simultaneously, which is a notable limitation.

The new iPhone is similar to its AT&T counterpart, but features revised hardware that rids the device of the famed “Antennagate” issue by altering the unit’s antenna design. This also causes the current line of cases to be incompatible with the Verizon model.

There will not be an LTE version available, and unlike the AT&T-Apple deal, the Verizon-Apple partnership is non-exclusive.
