If Life Without Alligator Loki Has You Down, Here’s Where You Can Find Him Ahead of Loki Season 2
My Loki has a first name, it is A-l-l-i-g-a-t-o-r.
The Disney Plus series, Loki, bestowed us with many gifts. We saw Loki being Loki while going through some deep emotional growth. We got Owen Wilson playing the jet-ski-loving Mobius M. Mobius. And then there was everyone’s favorite variant. No—I’m not talking about Sylvie (as fantastic as she turned out to be), there was another variant who stole the show. And our hearts.
Arguably, the best part of Loki, and the best variant, was Alligator Loki. Just look at him. He’s Alligator Loki. He needs no other introduction.
What is green, gold, and adorable all over?
But if you need a refresher, the main MCU Loki first met his alligator counterpart in the Void, where all pruned variants go to die. All the Lokis there have committed some kind of crime or caused a horrible rift in the timeline. His crime was eating a neighbor’s cat, with plans to consume another. The Time Variance Authority pruned him before he could cause any more chaos.
Alligator Loki was part of a tenuous alliance with three other Loki variants. When one of the Lokis betrays (shocking, I know) the rest of the group, a battle of Lokis ensues. And Alligator Loki made sure he got his by biting off the hand of President Loki.
The smallest Loki variant seems most loyal and attached to Kid Loki, following him wherever he goes. Upon meeting Alligator Loki, Mobius said he had never heard of an Alligator Loki and that the little creature must be lying. However, he conceded that lying is a key trait of Loki, so he would in fact…still be a Loki. And if waiting for Loki season two to see Alligator Loki again is absolutely not possible (and how could it be?!), you’re in luck because now, we can all enjoy even more of him with Marvel’s comic series Alligator Loki.
Where can you read the Alligator Loki Comics?

Alligator Loki’s first issue debuted on March 11th, 2022, and the 12-issue digital comic series is only available on the Marvel Unlimited app. Writer Alyssa Wong, artist Robert Quinn, and colorist Pete Pantazis bring the MCU original to the pages of Marvel Comics. Thor has always had his hands full with his brother, Loki, in human form. But after meeting Alligator Loki, Thor decided they needed family bonding time. Now, he must handle a smaller, bitey alligator version of the God of Mischief.
It only gets more fun from there—involving an Asgard amusement park, an alligator in a baby carrier, and a tiny version of Thor’s hammer. Fortunately, the comic series on Marvel Unlimited is rated for all ages, so every Loki fan (and all their variants) can enjoy it.
