X-Ray Guernica

Artist Ron English recently painted a nifty x-ray version of Picasso’s Guernica on a wall in Rome. Incidentally, the original Guernica was x-rayed in 2008 to check for structural damage; fortunately, it appeared to be alright.

Compare to the original Guernica after the jump. It’s impressive how well it stacks up:
