California Wildfires Near Yosemite are Visible from Space

San Francisco is in a state of emergency as wildfires rage near Yosemite National Park. The fire has been burning for days, thriving on dry conditions. To put into perspective just how large the fire is, astronaut Karen Nyberg photographed the smoke — from space.
