See Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein Again on the Big Screen for One Night Only
No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen."
What better way to honor Gene Wilder than by watching one of his best-known works on the big screen? Last week, the legendary comedian passed away at the age of 83 and now Fathom Events is bringing back one of his most famous roles for a one-time-only event.
Young Frankenstein will return to theaters, according to SlashFilm, on Oct. 5. Screenings are set for 8 p.m. eastern time and will be accompanied by an introduction from director Mel Brooks live from the 20th Century Fox backlot. If that doesn’t tickle enough of your fancy, he’s even going to show you around the film’s original shooting location.
For those who haven’t already seen the film, what have you been doing with your life? The hilarious parody of the classic horror story also stars Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Teri Garr, Madeline Kahn and Gene Hackman. If you’re planning to attend, you might want to grab your tickets now as they’ve already gone on sale. Head here to find a screening near you.
