Critic Proof: Cars 2 Box Office Numbers Not Bad At All

Despite the horrible reviews, it looks like Pixar‘s Cars 2 will be a box office success after all. Hollywood Reporter is estimating that the flick could bring in as much as $68 million over the course of the weekend. Friday saw $25.7 million in ticket sales already. All this cash, despite the best slow-clap-worthy quote we read about Cars 2 and the decision to put Mater front and center:

Pixar has now found its redneck Jar-Jar Binks.
