Brittney Schnek, 23, took a 1994 Dodge Caravan and turned it into the preferred transportation of crime-fighting mutant humanoid turtles after over a year of work.

As with any good obsession, Brittney’s can be linked back to her childhood:

“The Turtles played a huge role in my childhood. Growing up with all my male cousins, playing Ninja Turtles while my Uncle Harry (Uncle Shredder) chased us around doing an exact voice of The Shredder. He used to drive us all around in his Caravan, and when I see one, I just think of the Turtles and all the memories.”

I mean, one way or the other, who wouldn’t be a little affected by being driven around in an old van by someone doing The Shredder’s voice?

Though the van is pretty awesome, it’s not a 1:1 recreation: The Turtles’ van was a Volkswagon rather than a Dodge, a decision Brittney made due to the availability of Dodge Caravan parts. Also: No pizza launcher, but we won’t hold that too much against it.

Hats off to you, Brittney. Now get to work on recreating some glowing green ooze that’ll mutate little baby turtles into authentic ninja drivers for your awesome van.
