Lots of people who ultimately end up going into comedy go through an awkward phase during which they encounter their fair share of bullying. It should come as no surprise that highly successful comedian (and proud geek) Stephen Colbert had his own experiences with bullies. In his new message for Dan Savage‘s It Gets Better Project, he tells a really great story of how one of his friends turned a bully’s slurs against him.
