The newest season of Sesame Street premiered today, so in honor of the show’s 44th year on the air, Filmmakers Patrick Epino and Stephen Dypiangco from the PBS web series National Film Society interviewed Cookie Monster about his love of movies. Turns out the little guy’s got some pretty classic tastes in cinema.
When asked if he had advice to give any budding filmmakers who might be watching, Cookie Monster had this to say: “Me think it important to stay your to you vision. If you have vision, don’t stray from vision. Stay true to vision. That good advice.”
