Marina Shifrin works at — or, well, used to work at Next Media Animation, the company that makes those Taiwanese news-reenacting viral videos . She wasn’t particularly satisfied with the way things were going there, so she quit — and decided to break he news to her boss by making a viral video of her very own.
She explains her reasoning both in the captions above and in the Youtube description below:
I work for an awesome company that makes news videos. I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets.
I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come. Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.
It’s been about two days and her video’s already gotten over 800,000 views, so it looks like the stunt worked. Somebody better hire her right up real soon, because she’s clearly going places.
