Imagine it: you are going to see Thor 2: The Dark World at the Shanghai Bona Insun International Cineplex. No doubt you’re probably excited to watch all your favorite Norse gods battle it out a second time. And then you turn the corner and see — this. Could it get any better? No, it can’t.

Now, we’re not going to insult the intelligence of the people running this theater by suggesting that they “accidentally” used the wrong poster. Sure, that might have been what happened, but we want to imagine that the owners of the Shanghai Bona Insun International Cineplex knew exactly what they were doing. After all, why wouldn’t you? It’s so much better than the real ones, as we all saw when this version first hit the internet two months ago.

Tried as we could, we were not able to track down the original creator of the poster anymore — The Tumblr it came from is now defunct and it seems that we’d need a Weibo account to stay on the trail. We did, however, find the image itself if you’d like to have your own prints made, because of course you would:
