Cyberclean seems to be a product for cleaning electronics, particularly all that stuff that gets in your keyboard and controller buttons. Frankly we think it looks a lot like Gak, which was never good for anything else than making fart noises.
Nevertheless, Cyberclean maintains that you can clean your surfaces with it just by pressing and pulling, but I’m sure there are a lot of people reading this that have had enough analogous experiences to be wary. Play-Doh and jeans, for example. Silly putty and crumbs.
Who to trust?
Kotaku, and their product review. They say a picture is worth a thousand words:
Bleuch. Nothing like picking up a controller and realizing it’s covered in something, although with this I’m not sure how you couldn’t notice. Brian Crecente himself tested it out, and
found that its ability to attract scum was not as great as its ability to get wedged into tiny gaps and break free of the mother slime ball.
Color us surprised. We’ll stick to our trusty can of air.
