The cosplayers were out in full force at the Calgary Expo this year, and we’re bringing you the very best and most hilarious. Unlike Fan Expo, Calgary Expo has done an amazing job of placing cosplayer safety at the forefront, so it’s no surprise that cosplayers were everywhere.

Not only does the Expo have Cosplay Is Not Consent signage everywhere, they also released a video about it. They have a staff member trained by Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (who also have a fully-staffed booth on-site) available at all times during show hours, solely dedicated to issues of harassment. Their security and volunteers are taking it incredibly seriously. It’s amazing.

Ready? Allons-y!

And here’s the great Cosplay Is Not Consent video the Expo put together. Way to go, guys. You’re the best.
