The vampire genre might be played out, but we should all make an exception for What We Do In The Shadows, the critically-acclaimed mockumentary from the creators of Boy, Eagle Vs. Shark, and Flight of The Conchords.

Here’s a synopsis from the movie’s website:

When their 8000 year-old flatmate Petyr, turns 20-something human hipster Nick, into a vampire, the guys must teach him the ropes and guide him through his new found eternal life. And in return they are forced to learn a thing or two about modern society, fashions, technology, and the internet. But it’s the introduction of Nick’s human friend, Stu, that really changes the vampire’s lives and attitudes towards the ever-changing world around them.

If the fratty undead hijinks from the trailer have you vamped up for the full movie, be sure to take a look at the film’s twitter (@DeliciousNecks)and instagram. Word on the street says it was the best vampire mockumentary roommate comedy from New Zealand at this year’s Sundance. Also the only one, but regardless– this still looks great.
