Earlier this year, Pokémon X and Y reached a milestone of over 12 million copies sold worldwide to become the best selling games on the Nintendo 3DS. They’ve also got Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire coming out later on this year. And yet another goal was reached when 100 million Global Trade Station deals was hit – which of course means a celebration!
And what celebration is complete without free gifts?
As a reward for the Global Trade Station deals, Nintendo and The Pokémon Co. are giving away a special Fancy Pattern Vivillon to X and Y trainers.
IGN explains that the Pokémon is fairly easy to obtain and provides instructions for how to get it:
The Fancy Pattern Vivillon is a limited-time offer on the Nintendo Network and can’t be found in the wild of Pokémon X and Y, according to The Pokémon Co. Players can obtain the exclusive Pokémon by selecting Mystery Gift on the main menu for the 3DS title, then speaking to the delivery girl at the nearest Pokémon Center.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in the US and Japan on the 21st of November.
Be sure to grab your Fancy Pattern Vivillon while you can!
