Netflix Filtering Website “A Better Queue” Helps Decide What Movies You’ll Never Actually Get Around to Watching

Is there anything better than clearing your schedule, popping some corn, going to Netflix, and spending two hours deciding which movies you really should watch, eventually, but now’s not the right time, you know? You’re just not feeling it. For those who like to procrastinate via organization, there’s a cool site you definitely don’t want to go to, because it’ll enable your tendencies: A Better Queue.

Designed by Dave Jachimiak, A Better Queue lets you sort the movies available on Netflix Instant by genre, number of reviews, year (or span of years), and, most usefully, its Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer rating. I wasn’t able to find a gay and lesbian movie from the 1940s with an 80+, but that’s the universe’s fault, not Jachimiak’s.

The site’s been around for a while, but this is the first time I’m hearing about it. And I’m glad I did, because now it’ll take some time away from being on Tumblr (when I should be doing other things), reorganizing my DVD collection (when I should be doing other things), and reading bad fanfic (when I should be doing other things).
