Oh, to transmogrify into a fly on the wall: It was revealed this morning via Twitter that J.K. Rowling made a trip down to the Edinburgh Book Festival to introduce education activist and astounding teenager Malala Yousafzai.

Rowling spoke briefly about the “the most influential 17-year-old in the world” before Malala’s appearance in front of 600 school-age children to talk about I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education and Changed the World, an autobiography geared towards young readers. Images and testimonials about the impact the two phenomenal ladies had on their audience are already appearing on Twitter, including a quote from Rowling on the young woman she had the privilege of introducing:

Malala is an inspiration to girls and women all over the world. It is a real honour for me to introduce her at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Editions of I Am Malala for both adults and young readers are available now  on Amazon.

Now I need a Time-Turner and some Floo powder, stat!
