Dragon Age: Inquisition is only twenty-six days away (finally) and BioWare has released a new video about your companions—and some ridiculous details about the in-game sexytimes, as well.
This video details three of your potential companions, a trio some are calling Team Yolo: Iron Bull, a tank played by Freddie Prinze Jr. and wearing hilarious pants; Sera, a chaotic elven archer also wearing hilarious pants; and Dorian, a mage with a magical mustache.
Additionally, DA:I was recently rated M by the ESRB. Yeah, there were reasons like, “Cutscenes sometimes depict characters impaled or getting their throats slit,” and, “Violent sequences are often highlighted by cries of pain, gurgling/gushing sounds, and large blood-splatter effects.” But here’s the really good stuff:
The game includes some sexual material: a female character briefly depicted in front of a man’s torso (fellatio is implied); characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex; some dialogue referencing sex/sexuality (e.g., “’I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect’” and “The way your t*ts bounce when I pin your arms and take you on the side of the bed…”). The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in dialogue.
Emphasis mine, because that is wonderfully ridiculous. And never forget:
Also, if you’re worried about your saves from previous games, or if you’ve never played a Dragon Age before, don’t worry. On October 29th, you can head over to Dragon Age Keep. Once you’re in, you get to rapidly choose your way through all the decisions in the first two games, and that will upload to DA:I when you start playing. Yes, that means don’t have to do what I did and replay all of Origins just so your Warden could marry Alistair and become Queen.
Or you could, I mean. It’s totally worth it, let’s be honest.
