In a video just posted on the Doctor Who YouTube page, Peter Capaldi admits to something shocking (Which we mentioned earlier today but felt we needed to make a much bigger deal out of!). He had the chance to audition for Doctor Who previously and TURNED. IT. DOWN. Well, there’s a bit more too it than that. Listen to him tell the story which surprised even Steven Moffat, which includes something we already knew about Capaldi – he’s a huge Doctor Who fan.
