So Nick Willing is writing/directing a Syfy original Peter Pan prequel and Blastr asked him why he’d chosen to add an original female character to the story. He responded and I made the following faces.

Well, I made her a girl ’cause there are too many men in this story.

I had to have a nice, sexy girl, but you know that’s really how it started.

Thanks for perpetuating the idea that purpose of a woman in a story is to be looked at, not characterized.

You let me know not to watch your movie.

Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
