Puppet-free!

My dad loves the classic Thunderbirds, but I always found those dead-eyed puppets more than a little terrifying. I think in this instance, though, if the remake had gone full puppet and really embraced its mid-century kitsch that this could have been really great – I’m bummed they went this bad CGI route. Though Miss Penelope admittedly looks way better here.

Thunderbirds Are Go will start airing this spring on CITV in the UK, starring surprisingly big names like Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones).
