Parkinson’s Disease is a chronic illness that makes day-to-day activities difficult. When those with Parkinson’s try to write, their hands cramp up and the writing gets smaller as a result. Well, some college students have invented this nifty pen that fixes that.
The ARC pen uses high frequency vibrations that manage certain muscles in the hand and helps move the pen across the page. It’s really effective with a handwriting improvement of about 85%.
The students, who attend Royal College of Art and Imperial College in London and call themselves Dopa Solution, haven’t mentioned putting it on the market, but when they finally do, it’s going to help a lot of people.
