According to this rumor from Latino Review, Asa Butterfield may play Peter Parker in a brand new solo Spider-Man movie in 2017. If it’s true, he’ll also reportedly be making an appearance in Captain America: Civil War, which is currently being shot.

Borys Kit of THR has shared a little bit of context into the rumor, tweeting the following:

What I know: Asa Butterfield was due to test for SPIDER-MAN this week. But so were a few others. Is Asa Peter Parker?
