With Jurassic World stomping into theaters shortly, Bryce Dallas Howard is thinking ahead to her next project, and she’d really like to be involved in something with Marvel’s name on it, please—in more ways than one.

Cinema Blend caught up with Howard at a Jurassic World press event and asked what she’d like to do next, and her response was that she’d like to be in a Marvel movie. Not to be confused with a movie based on a Marvel property like Spider-Man 3—which you likely either forgot or at least tried to forget existed by now—but an actual Marvel-produced movie. When CB’s Eric Eisenberg suggested that she could play Captain Marvel in her upcoming movie, Howard replied,

Oh my God, will you write that? Will you write that please? Yes, let’s start a campaign now. That would be rad. Those movies are so fantastic, because talk about just these incredibly drawn characters! That’s the joy of the comics, is that you fall in love with these characters and it’s who they are that carries you from journey to journey to journey… it’s not just about set pieces. It’s really about who these people are, and so, yes, I just would love to be in a Marvel film.

Yes, we will write that. We will write all about it. Get on it, Internet; you have the power to make it happen. There are plenty of great women we’d like to see take up the role of Captain Marvel, including one who looks strikingly like Howard and already voiced some superhero interest, but we’re absolutely up for a campaign to get Howard on board if she wants in.

Really, we’re up for anything at all being decided about Captain Marvel after its release date was moved back to make room for Spider-Man, especially with the idea of Howard and Marvel reminding us just how sour our impression of Spider-Man on film has become. Maybe if Howard goes on from Spider-Man 3 to make a good Marvel Comics movie, the healing can finally begin.
