Nintendo’s E3 Puppets Were Actual Muppets, Mario Creator Shigeru Miyamoto Visits the Workshop

Last year, Nintendo went with Robot Chicken-style action figure stop motion animation to present their wares at E3, so this year they topped it with puppets. Puppets made by the actual Jim Henson workshop. So if you shouted, “Oh my God, Nintendo MUPPETS!” like a large portion of our editorial staff during their show, you were pretty much dead-on.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you missed out on a puppet show feat. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, President and CEO of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime, and Mario/Zelda/1-million-other-things creator Shigeru Miyamoto:
