Okay, to be fair, the trailer isn’t all terrible. There’s a few seconds of Wonder Woman kicking ass. And… another few seconds of Wonder Woman kicking ass. Sorry, wait, there was more to the trailer? Oh, right, angry, pouty Batman and The Floating Chin Cleft Superman. They’re in there, too. (via Vulture)
- Roger Rees, who you may know from Cheers, The West Wing, or Robin Hood: Men in Tights has passed away today at the age of 71. Rest easy, Sheriff of Nottingham. (via CNN)
- Harrison Ford has some very choice words for the new generation of actors in The Force Awakens. “Your life will change, and you will get used to it. And you will be by turns happy, and delighted, and employed, and then you’ll wonder ‘what the hell happened?’ every once in a while.” That’s real. (via io9)

X-Men: Apocalypse posters were given out at San Diego Comic-Con today, offering some lucky recipients (and, well, the rest of us on the internet) a glimpse at the new movie’s villain, silhouetted by a burning school for gifted youngsters. (via Collider)
- Apparently all the cool Avengers are headed to the animated realm as Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and a whole slew of Inhumans are slated to be on the animated show Avengers Assemble for a season revolving around Ultron. Captain Marvel’s uniform is said to be an updated version of Jamie McKelvie’s design… here’s hoping for the best, there. (via Comic Book Resources)
- The Dark Tower has finally landed a director in Nikolaj Arcel, whose prolific work includes A Royal Affair, Election Night, and co-authoring the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. This movie’s been a long time coming, so progress like this is good to see, especially for you Stephen King fans out there. (via Deadline)
Lots of stuff. Lots of Comic-Con stuff! And there’s even more happening later today and tomorrow. What about you, what are you excited to see? What did you see today?
