This Fallout-Themed Monopoly Game Could Complete Your Underground Bunker

Fallout 4 will include a bonus game in its Collector’s Edition: an official Fallout-themed Monopoly board game. One of the most enduring examples of political satire in games, Monopoly is a classic for anybody who wants to kill a ton of time (same goes for the latter-day Fallout games, actually). Seems perfect for a post-apocalyptic vault sealed off from the rest of the world.

Although Fallout‘s 1950s pulp-art aesthetic does remind me a bit of old Monopoly designs, it turns out that “Rich Uncle Pennybags” (yes, the Monopoly logo has an actual name) pre-dates Pip Boy by a pretty significant margin. Folks have seen the similarities before, though; this fan-made Fallout Monopoly board game went viral two years ago.

What do you think? Does the aesthetic of Fallout lend itself well to the structure of Monopoly? Or would you rather see Fallout: Queen of the Prom? (I would.)
