VFX Artist Gives Daughter Superpowers in Sci-Fi Kid: Volume 1

If you liked Action Movie Kid, you’ll adore Sci-fi Kid! VFX artist and director Kyle Roberts transforms his daughter into a superhero, cinematically shooting lazers, and shooting off into space! Coolest dad Roberts explained his process and inspiration in an interview with Indiewire:

I sat her down in this prop plane and really loved seeing the joy in her eyes as she was pushing buttons, pulling levers. Then quickly looked around and thought…I bet I can take a series of shots here and make something out of this.
