Sure, it was only a matter of time before The Hobbit got this kind of treatment, but it’s the execution where a swede really shines, not the idea of sweding itself. I don’t want to give anything away, but the dwarf roll call and musical interlude has been improved upon. This will also satisfy those who love Meet the Feebles, Peter Jackson‘s second feature film, and those who like buttered bread.

If you’d like to compare to the actual Hobbit trailer, or if you just want to watch it again (who could blame you?), you’ll find it below.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
