In what might be the best Mad Max: Fury Road crossover cosplay ever, Emily Finke (a.k.a. Seelix) brings us Imperator Peachiosa! And she’s even got the full deets on how she made this awesome idea come to life. (via Mad Art Lab)

  • In the name of girl power, I also urge you to check out this interview with Rose McGowan on THR. This woman is speaking boldly in the name of feminism and it’s riveting and important. (Also check out her new music video, “RM486,” if you haven’t already.)

It was a slow news day generally, but man, did I ever stumble upon a bunch of fun Star Wars goodies throughout my travels, including this throwback to a TIME (HA!) when we thought that we were on the verge of “The Last Star Wars.” (via Reddit user Mr_A)

This is not new news to me, but I was reminded of this awesome Friday the 13th sweater from Mondo today and I thought you guys might be into it too. It’s got this ’80s 8-bit vibe, while also captures the ugly Halloween on Christmas sweater feels.

And with that, I’m officially signing off as your Weekend Editor, TMS crew. Thank you, sincerely, for engaging with me and for reading my stuff these past few months.

After I leave, I’ll still be contributing here (iZombie is coming back and so are my reviews!), but you’ll also be able to find me on HelloGiggles, Yahoo Canada and my site, Cinefilles. (I also have a TV podcast called Remotely Girly, a girl-centric horror web series debuting this October, and a snacktive Twitter account, if that’s of interest.)

Anyway, long story short, this isn’t goodbye. It’s see you soon. Just probably not on weekends.
