Today in “things you didn’t know your life was missing,” we’ve got Kevin Conroy, the iconic Voice of Batman, and Will Friedle (Batman Beyond‘s Terry McGinnis) reading The Empire Strikes Back‘s big dramatic moment. Yeah, you know the one.

Batman—er, Conroy voices Vader, and Friedle takes on the role of Luke, both in-character in their bat-voices per request from The Geek Generation’s Rob Logan at the Voices of Batman panel at Rhode Island Comic Con. Having Batman and Terry in these roles feels kind of perfect, though it probably would’ve been fun to swap them the other way around, too.

Or on second thought, maybe not. We all know what happens when Vader does a Luke impression.
