Tonight, the Master comes to Gotham. Or rather, “The Lady.” Doctor Who‘s Michelle Gomez will be appearing on tonight’s episode entitled “A Bitter Pill to Swallow.”

She actually announced her involvement earlier this month on Twitter:

First of all, I’m really digging the wavy hair/button-down shirt and tie ensemble she has going on! Secondly, I’m excited to see Gomez guest star on a show on this side of The Pond! She’s amazing as Missy, and so I hope that fans here get to enjoy her work on other projects, too! Here’s the official episode description:

Gordon and Barnes continue cleaning up Gotham, and Gordon comes face-to-face with one of the city’s most dangerous hitmen, Eduardo Flamingo (guest star Raul Castillo). Meanwhile, Nygma and Penguin cross paths again, and Bruce pressures Galavan into handing over the name of his parents’ murderer.

Guest Cast: Natalie Alyn Lind as Silver St Cloud, Michelle Gomez as The Lady, Jon Sklaroff as Billy Boy, Raul Castillo as Eduardo Flamingo and Ron Rifkin as Father Creel.

It’s awesome when fandoms collide, isn’t it? Will you be watching Gomez on Gotham tonight?
