UK company Ofcom is warning customers that their home and office Internet connections could be compromised by holiday cheer. According to The Guardian,
The watchdog estimated up to six million homes and offices could improve their broadband connection, saying wireless networks were often not set up correctly or suffered “interference” from electronics including baby monitors, microwave ovens and Christmas lights.
Christmas spirit: the silent menace.
Ofcom has also launched an app to help users test the coverage in their homes and identify culprits, but if your lights aren’t up yet and you intend on decorating soon, now might be a good time to get in your Holiday Netflixing.
Not even the vegetables like this.
