Telltale Games Will Get Inside Bruce Wayne’s Head in a Batman Game

You’d probably enjoy this super-mysterious, tension-building, beautifully illustrated trailer better if I hadn’t just told you it’s for a Batman game, because the entire trailer keeps it secret that all of its statements refer to Gotham and Bruce Wayne until the very end, when the Bat insignia appears. It’s quite artfully done, and the ink-blot aesthetic looks amazing — and ink illustration feels like a good metaphor for how well I happen to think Telltale Games fills out its stories.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what Telltale does with the Batman franchise; if their past work is any indication, we can expect to see a lot of female characters getting interesting plot-lines as well. Fingers crossed for the all three Gotham City Sirens?
