The first trailer for The Jungle Book looked gorgeous, and especially remarkable considering the entire film was shot in downtown L.A. Walt Disney studios just released a Vine teaser (there’s a pun in there somewhere but I can’t find it) with the caption “When you’re alone in the jungle” to give us a closer look at the CGI animals, who look ferocious. I’m especially impressed with how natural the lighting looks on their fur and scales which I imagine took a lot of labor.

They also appear in this “living poster,” which I’m really digging, especially with Shere Khan’s menacing stare in the back.

It’s definitely a far cry from their 1967 counterparts. What do you think of the Jungle Book animals?
