Monday Cute: Baby Koala Mistakes Cameraman for a Tree

Life can be really confusing for a widdle babby koala. Like, sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between a tree and a human. They’re both so tall!

This little koala is Imogen, and she lives in the Koala Sanctuary at the Symbio Wildlife Park in Sydney, Australia. Obviously, Imogen knew she was climbing a human, probably because the human called her over. I was actually worried for that guy. Koala claws are designed for tree bark, not human flesh. I guess the fact that this was a little koala helped it not do any damage in climbing up that dude’s body.

I’ve gotta say, I’d love it if a koala climbed me. Hell, a bunch of koalas. It’d be the cutest infestation ever!
