PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS BEATING ME TO MY GENIUS IDEAS! Just the other day, I was talking to a friend and I said, “One of my pipe dreams is to start a sort of ‘Playboy Club’ for women. All the brandy-drinking and classy plush furniture of the original, but with less misogyny and more mostly-naked hot dudes.” DAMN YOU, CHANNING TATUM!

In a partnership with Cosmopolitan, Channing Tatum is creating Magic Mike Live, a stage show headed for Las Vegas. He released the above video on all his social media outlets, where he describes the start of his vision for the show, set to open in 2017. That vision apparently features shirtless hot dudes lustfully performing household tasks, puppies, and general smoldering.

Sign. Me. Up. My friends and I are already planning a “girls’ weekend.”

Here’s the thing, Tatum himself was the big draw of the Magic Mike. I mean….“Pony,” y’all. “Pony.” And it’s not just that he’s hot as hell, or that he’s a celebrity, it’s that he’s an amazing dancer. I don’t know how personally involved Tatum will be in the production, but whatever guys are selected for this have to be more than just eye candy. They have to be able to move. Whether it’s men or women removing their clothes, stripping is about more than just getting nekkid.

Also, I assume that, since they really worked the gay market during the promotional tour for the second film, that the Vegas show would also be marketed to men who like men as well as women who like men? It’s only fair. I don’t mind, and I’m sure there’ll be plenty of washboard abs to go around.

Before they open the show, the folks at Magic Mike Live want to hear what you’d like to see in a stage show. Or what type of Las Vegas Magic Mike experience you’d like to have. Head over to their Facebook page to let them know how much (or how little) you’d like to see.

And remember, they spell it “come.” They’re keeping it classy.
