A few weeks back, Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland called out the God of Thunder himself on Instagram for a bit of fun over their respective stunt capabilities. Now, the crew behind Marvel and Sony’s joint Spider-Man venture is back at it again, with director Jon Watts showing off a bit of motion-capture tech and how well it goes together with Holland’s dance moves.
This time, they’re referencing a shot of Josh Brolin in his motion-capture suit for Thanos in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which the Russo brothers posted on Facebook. There’s not much going on in the still, but poking fun at it over Instagram with a bit of showboating is pretty much exactly what I’d expect from a modern Spider-Man. They are, indeed, “doing it right.” Youths!
He can afford to be free and fun-loving for now, though. Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters first in July 2017, but Thanos will get his turn to even things out when Infinity War arrives in 2018.
