Samuel L. Jackson Yelled at Some Kittens on a Dare on The Tonight Show, What Else Do You Need Me to Say?

Few things in this life make me happier than kittens. Of those few things, one of them is Samuel L. Jackson doing, well, anything. So when he appeared on The Tonight Show last night to play “Truth or Door,” you better believe I was all over that video. Imagine how much more excited I was when I found out that while playing the “truth or dare” variant, Jackson picked door (or dare) and was tasked with yelling at some kittens.
To be more specific, Jackson had to yell at the kittens about why they needed to go see his favorite movie, which is the grisly, visceral martial arts movie The Raid 2. Nary a second into his dare, he dropped a “motherf*cker,” much to the audience’s (and likely your) enjoyment. The kittens, probably not used to such high intensity yelling or environments, all kind of piled on each other and were, well, kittens. By the end of his yelling spell, the kittens looked perhaps just a little bit… shell shocked, let’s say. Jackson was allowed to hold on to one of the kittens for the rest of the game, and it was just the perfect little ball of floof, let me just tell you right now.
Jackson’s dare came after he felt his original pick, a truth question, was too easy. Asked what his greatest fear was, Jackson said, “Never working again.” It didn’t draw much of a reaction from the audience, hence why he went rogue and asked for a dare anyway. That being said, that’s a heck of a response, as it’s kind of an interesting, insightful answer.
The whole clip’s worth watching, even if only to watch Jackson’s fellow guest Gina Rodriguez act and talk like a robot while petting a kitten.
Television. What even is it?
