It’s been a big year for Harry Potter fans with the introduction of the series’ only proper sequel on the stage with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, as well as a whole new movie franchise kicking off with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Now Barnes and Noble is getting in the spirit of both Harry Potter and the holidays with Yule Ball events!

“Calling all Muggles, wizards and witches! Head to your local Barnes & Noble store to celebrate the wonder of the wizarding world with a festive event inspired by the Yule Ball in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Enjoy a magical evening of Harry Potter-themed crafts, wizarding games, enchanting music, and spellbinding surprises.”

The “Magical Holiday Ball” events will be held in select stores on Friday, December 9, and you can find one near you by checking for local events on the Barnes and Noble store locator. In addition to the event’s features listed above, there will also be dancing (of course), photo-ops, and Chamber of Secrets: Illustrated Edition poster giveaways until supplies run out, so practice your Apparating to get there on time.

We probably don’t even have to tell you this, but attending in costume is encouraged, so make us proud, and have fun!
