This Orange Is the New Black Teaser Will Make You Feel Pretty Anxious

Netflix dropped a new teaser for Orange Is the New Black and it’s a doozy. (Note: When I say new, I mean this video itself was recently uploaded even though the footage is mainly from season 4.) An unruly crowd plus a nervous person wielding a firearm does not make for a very pleasant combo.

Picking up right were we left off at the end of last season, Daya has a gun aimed at correction officer Thomas Humphrey’s head as shouting prisoners watch on. Their anger stems from a mixture of things including mistreatment by the guards and an obvious cover up surrounding the death of Poussey. At the end of the video, Daya fires off a shot but we don’t know if she hit anyway.

What we do know is season 5 is supposed to take place over the span of three intense days. The prison drama stars Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon,
Michael Harney, Kate Mulgrew, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Dascha Polanco, Nick Sandow, Jackie Cruz, Lea DeLaria, Elizabeth Rodriguez and more.

Orange Is the New Black returns to Netflix on June  9.
