There’s nothing quite like a good, old-fashioned action movie. This… isn’t exactly that movie.

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson team up in The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and after watching this trailer, I’m left wondering why the hell these two aren’t paired up in even more movies. Oh, and in case you might not be familiar with both of these two stars’ work, be warned: there’s a lot of swearing in this trailer, so make sure your headphones are securely plugged in before you start watching this trailer at work.

Just saying.

Their styles of humor mesh so well, and they’re perfect foils for each other.

For those who might not know what The Hitman’s Bodyguard is about, here’s a description from IMDb: “The world’s top bodyguard gets a new client, a hit man who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial on time.”

You know, with a description like that, this might totally seem like a Super Serious Dramatic Thriller Filled With Intrigue. That isn’t to say this won’t have any of those things, but honestly, what really shines through this trailer is the incredible, classic buddy team-up action movie vibe.
