Today is Donald Trump’s birthday.

I’m not entirely sure what to do with that information. It’s not like we’re going to throw him a party. Twitter, though, is full of people wishing him a “happy” birthday, internet-style. Which is to say, with a whole lot of snark.

Yup, people really want to let Donald Trump know just how much they appreciate him on his special day.

What do you get a man like Trump for his birthday?

It certainly is a special day.

It’s more than a little disconcerting to see Twitter throw birthday balloons up on his account, isn’t it? Right over a message about today’s horrific shooting, no less.

Is this a good time to mention that today also happens to be my birthday?

Well, thank you.
