- In a true “What the actual hell?” moment, the Cinémathèque Francaise will hold a retrospective on the work of director Roman Polanski, who has been accused of raping two underage girls. Polanski will attend the opening on Monday (tomorrow), and French feminist organization Osez le féminisme is planning a demonstration. (via Deadline)
- Cartoonists of Color recently updated their database, and they now have entries for 1,094 creators of color. If you’re a comics creator of color yourself, please be sure to submit your name and info to the database.
- Funko Pop! is releasing figures from Fiona Staples and Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga comic. They’ll be available in February. A figure of Izabel the ghostly babysitter will also be available exclusively at Hot Topic, and you can check out the other store exclusives at their blog.
