Black Panther‘s trailers have been cool as hell, but we haven’t gotten a chance to see any parts of the movie in sequence until now.
The first clip from Black Panther was released on Ellen, and it shows a more extended scene of a car chase featured in the trailers. The best part about this for me is that we get to see T’Challa working in concert with his tech genius sister Shuri, and honestly I’d already be on board with a Shuri movie. (Hey, Marvel—when you finally make that all-female superhero movie, Shuri’s gonna be the Tony Stark inventor-type of the group, right? Right?)
In the clip, T’Challa jumps on a car that’s being driven by Shuri (apparently using her snazzy tech to drive it from a remote location), and as T’Challa is being shot at by bad guys, Shuri explains that the bullets bouncing off of his suit are actually charging it with kinetic energy. Talk about multi-tasking and good design.
After the clip, we see the latest trailer from Black Panther, and even though I’ve watched it a dozen times I can always watch it again with growing excitement. I am also living for Michael B. Jordan’s Look in this scene where his Erik Killmonger and Andy Serkis’ Ulysses Klaue are visiting a museum.
We are less than a month away from Black Panther, my friends. WE ARE LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY FROM BLACK PANTHER.
