After Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan shared his love of anime, the internet took it a step further and began imagining Erik Killmonger as Wakanda’s #1 anime obsessive. (After all, his costume does look suspiciously similar to Vegeta’s.) Dubbed “weebmonger” by some, this pretty amazing corner of Black Panther fandom gives us a wonderful window into the nerd that just might be hiding inside our new favorite villain. (via io9)
Erik Killmonger: You and me? It’s like that part in Naruto where Naruto fights Sasuke at the Valley of the End. That part during the Sasuke retrieval arc you know what I’m sayin’?
T’challa: I don’t— I don’t understand a word you’re saying

Long live the internet.
- The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is partnering with graduate students at the University of Washington iSchool to figure out how readers find their manga, graphic novels, and weekly comics. If you’re a librarian, they’re particularly interested in your response, but they also need lots of readers and sellers of comics and manga to fill out the survey, too! (via CBLDF)
- Guillermo del Toro himself, as well as the characters from The Shape of Water, will be memorialized as Funko Pop! toys. (via Funko blog)
- The Once Upon A Time team talked about their goals for the series finale: “It’s less about tying up every loose end, it’s [more] about the feeling.” (via SYFY Wire)
- I’m not crying, you’re crying.
That’s all I’ve got today, TMSers! What’d you see out there on the wide, wild seas of the internet?
